Capital Media was established in 2008 and is now one of the UK's fastest-growing advertising and publishing agencies. Our story is as interesting as our work.

The year of 2008 saw many companies across the world have to give up in the wake of a massive international financial crash. Many stopped advertising, stopped growing and revenues declined rapidly.

But it was quite apparent that those who advertised themselves properly and cost-effectively could stick around and stand the test of time. Some of our clients even saw revenues increase, and it’s our job to advise our clients of affordable ways of achieving maximum growth.

In June 2008, advertising expert Stuart Graham formed Capital Media with a view to bringing affordable large, London-style advertising agency benefits to small and medium-sized businesses around the UK. In the first year, we were awarded Creative Industries Award at a regional business awards in the East Midlands, in recognition of our rapid development and success within a competitive media industry. The first year saw us gain new partners and develop a new publication, Life&Style Magazine, which to this day is the most-read lifestyle magazine in Nottinghamshire.

In the four years that have followed, much has changed here at Capital. We now work for clients in Europe and the United States, and have developed a wide cross-section of clients and partners through our publishing division and continue to service major clients and create stunning ad campaigns and re-branding exercises. We have achieved growth in every year since our inception and have achieved the same for every one of our clients.

In 2012, having just been shortlisted as a finalist for another award – this time for Excellence in Business – we were awarded the coveted independent Recommended Agency status by the Recommended Agency Register (RAR) and were highly rated by our current clients in all areas of our business. This recognition gives any future clients of ours complete peace of mind when working with us for the first time.
